Santa Clara Park Hotel

We stayed at Santa Clara Park Hotel last December 15 and 16, 2013 during the first two days of our Sorsogon-Bicol anniversary trip. It is located at Maharlika Highway, Pangpang, Sorsogon City. This hotel is near Sorsogon Medical Mission Group Hospital.

The place was really nice and the staff were friendly. It was like a big garden. I just noticed that they don't have a full time receptionist. Also, they don't offer food but not to worry, Sorsogon proper is just 3 to 5 minutes away from here.
Their standard room is Php1500 overnight. The room was really spacious.

It has a Queen size bed, air conditioning unit, cable television, toilet and bath. What I like about this room is the view from our window.
Afternoon view (cloudy)
Morning view (Sunny day) ^_^
This place has a mini bar.
We also explored the place and found these.
The place was really quiet. A good place to relax. ^_^
I definitely would love to go back in this place in the future!

Keni Po Tagaytay!

Every time I visit Tagaytay I usually stay at Keni Po. Why? because the staff are friendly and accommodating, the rooms are budget friendly, clean and comfy, nice and clean swimming pool, it is located in a very accessible place and they have a fast internet connection!

We visited Tagaytay again last June 12 and 13, 2013.

They have a parking area that can fit 10-12 cars.
 *Day time
*Night time
It is located beside Ina ng Laging Saklolo Parish.
They have this nice little garden with swimming pool.
This is their 6 feet pool (It was really clean)
Guests are also allowed to bring and grill food. (look at them! so masipag!)

On our first day we stayed at the second floor twin sharing room that costs Php 1200.
This is their second floor lounge.
The room has a single bed, air conditioning unit, veranda, flat screen TV with cable and DVD player (Note: you can borrow dvd and they have a lot of movies available) and a comfort room with bath tub.
On our second day we stayed for a while with our friends. They arrived early and they have plenty of time to go to the market and explore the place.
Their room is located at the ground floor family room that costs Php 2000. The room is good for four and their staff is nice enough to allow five guests without additional payment. They also allowed me and Vincent to stay in their room for around two to three hours without additional payment also.
The Family room has a small living room, kitchen, comfort room, bedroom with two beds and air conditioning unit.
We really had fun staying at Keni Po, looking forward for Part 2 with these pretty girls!

It's More Fun in Baguio City!

After one month of preparation for his birthday celebration trip, we decided to go to Baguio City. We inquired to two transient house and decided to choose Lyn's Transient Homes (0922-8313352) located at 79-B City Camp Alley, Baguio City. It is located near Burnham Park, Session Road, City Market and restaurants.
We visited the Orchidarium and the Panagbengga Landscapes Association exhibit in Burnham Park

We went to Burnham Park and Baguio Cathedral, walking distance from Lyn's transient home.
And went straight ahead to Wright Park. I'm very excited to go up the long stairs going to The Mansion.

We had lunch at Visco's Restaurant and Cake Shop in Session Road. I ordered Waldorf Salad and Beef Lasagna for him. I really wanted to try the strawberry shortcake but decident to order my favorite decadent chocolate cake.

We actually swap meals. He's really not into Parmesan cheese. Ahahaha!

The following day we went to Camp John Hay and was excited for the Tree Top Adventure. Unfortunately there were students from Brent International School and rides will be available at 12PM. We can only take one ride, the Silver Surfer!
Upon arriving the Tree Top Adventure, there will be an orientation and you need to buy at admission ticket worth Php100 which is consumable.

Assembly Area
Canopy
Tree Drop Adventure
Our Silver Surfer Adventure.
It was really fun! I was nervous and excited!
This picture was a bit expensive for Php250. It comes with 5R and 2 wallet size.
Wwe went to Good Taste restaurant near Burnham Park for our Lunch.
Each meal costs Php85 only!
Before going home, we went to Mines View Park to buy Pasalubong.
We had a great time celebrating his birthday! Baguio will always have a special place in our hearts, the cold weather, nice taxi drivers, the food and the tourist attractions! Overall, we had a great time!
