Tagaytay City -The Country’s 2nd Summer Capital

Me and Vincent went to Tagaytay thrice. Our first visit was last February 21 and 22, 2011. It was his birthday and we want it to be memorable. It was actually my first time there. That day I am sick and we only went to Picnic Grove, People's Park in the Sky and ate at Mushroom Burger. What a day!

We rode a Bus in Quirino Avenue, Manila with the sign board Tagaytay Olivarez. You can inform the conductor to drop you at the jeepney terminal going to People's Park. The terminal is near Rotonda. You can also ride the tricyle for Php20.00 per person going to Picnic Grove.

Picnic Grove:

*Entrance at Picnic Grove costs Php50.00

*You can also rent a cottage that costs Php100.00 to Php250.00 depending on the size.

View of Taal Volcano and Taal Lake
Eco Trail
Zipline and Cable Car
We tried Zipline and it was awesome! Riding the zipline is a thrilling experience especially because of the height and the wind in your face.

To go to People's Park in the Sky you can ride a jeep for a minimum fare.

Don't forget to visit the Mushroom Burger located at E. Aguinaldo Highway, Maharlika West, Tagaytay City!

More or less we enjoyed our overnight stay especially because of the cool weather.

Naga City, the Heart of Bicol

Naga SMILES to the World! (See, Meet, Invest, Live, Experience and Study in Naga).

This trip of ours was the start of a relationship beyond friendship.

We went to Naga last December 13-15, 2010, courtesy to the idea of our good friend JM and TL Toni. Brought with us a map and along we go!
We boarded a Raymond bus in Cubao going to Naga. The trip was around 9-10 hours that time. Upon arriving we took our breakfast at McDonald's Gen. Luna. The people were nice. A woman even gave us directions on how to go to the plaza. The only problem that we have is language barrier. Vincent and I cannot understand Bicolano.

We stayed at Golden Leaf Hotel- Misericordia St., Tinago, Naga City.
The room rate for double is Php 500.00 only. It comes with an air-con, matrimonial bed, cable TV, toilet and bath.

These are the places that we visited during our stay there.

First we visited the churches.

Our Lady of Peñafrancia Parish

Basilica Minore - Home of Our Lady of Peñafrancia

 San Francisco Church

Other places:

Plaza Rizal

Panicuason Hot Spring Resort
          very clear water!

         Rushing waters from Mt. Isarog.

Camsur Watersports Complex
* located in Cadlan, Pili, Camarines Sur, Philippines

Where to eat:

Bigg's Diner

Geewan

Naga Restaurant
*Our meal

Ice Blink
*It's a must try.

We also went at the Naga City Public Market to buy pasalubong. We also bought Pansit Bato-this is famous in Naga. Then we boarded the Philtranco Bus on our way home.

We will definitely go back to this place and will try going to Caramoan Islands which is Camarines Sur also.

Thank you JM and Masir Toni!

You and Me as We Travel

We have been together for 1 year, 9 months, 1 week & 2 days today. As I reminisce, I was fascinated that with that span of time we are together, we have been to different places already. Imagine, we were able to allot time to visit places inspite of the schedule we have at work.

Graveyard shift and six days a week work schedule. Every time we file a vacation leave we are always hoping for its approval.

The places that we visited:

Baguio- twice

Naga City

Tagaytay- thrice

Calaruega Batangas

Vigan

Laoag

Pagudpud

Lucban Quezon- twice
